12th Annual Jared’s Giant Pumpkin Festival & Weigh-off at Jared’s Nursery
Sept 30, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
The 12th Annual Jared’s “Giant Pumpkin Festival and Weigh-off” is coming up and is expected to be bigger and better than ever. Jared’s hosts the largest pumpkin weigh off in the state with state records being set 8 times in the past 12 years. The day is capped off with a pumpkin drop from a crane about 100’ feet in the air and local bands playing till 5 pm (or later). In addition to the excitement generated wondering which pumpkin will be the heaviest, (The largest weighed was over 1500 pounds) there will be other activities for the children and adults.
30th Annual Firefighter Chili Cook-off at Larimer Square
Sept 29, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
It’s going to be hot on Larimer Square as Denver Firefighters Local 858 and Señor Gordon’s Foods host hundreds of firefighters from all over the state to compete for the best green and red chili! There will be refreshing craft beer from Chain Reaction Brewing Company, music, local celebrity judges and the Colorado Firefighter Calendar! All are welcome to attend. Proceeds benefit MDA Rocky Mountain.
Stamp & Scrapbook Expo

Stamp & Scrapbook Expo events cater to paper crafters of all types and experience levels. Card Makers, Stampers and Scrapbook enthusiasts can find new products and designs from vendors. Swap ideas with like-minded crafters and learn new techniques by taking a workshop.

Enjoy an evening in the city with family and friends as we celebrate the end of summer! A rock wall, live band, food trucks, community mural and local vendors will come together to throw the biggest party of the summer, and you’re invited. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Kids Clothes Swap: Broomfield Family Clothes Swap at Calvary Church Broomfield

Have you heard about the family clothes swap? It happens twice a year in the spring and fall and is coming to Broomfield! This is a great opportunity to swap out your gently worn clothes and baby equipment and find what you need. Bring your stuff in a container that is labeled with your name and number on Friday and come on Saturday from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. to swap.

2017 Sacred Art Tour Cultural Pageant
