There are plenty of great events in Denver this week including the Downtown Boulder Fall Fest, Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms and the Summerset Festival. See our event calendar for full listings.
CherryArts Festival at Stanley at Stanley Marketplace
Sept 15 – 17
On September 15, 16 and 17 the event is free and open to the public and will include a national juried art show with nearly 100 exhibiting artists in 13 categories, including ceramics, mixed media, digital art, photography, metalworks and drawing. In addition to the artists, visitors will enjoy children’s activities at Creation Station, interactive art installations, food trucks and live entertainment.
Downtown Boulder Fall Fest
Sept 15 – 17
Now in its 30th year, Downtown Boulder’s Fall Fest has been one of Boulder’s most beloved community celebrations. This 3-day autumn festival features food, brews and music with the added excitement of Children’s Activities and featuring Firefly Handmade Markets.
Joy Park Free Nights at Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus
Sept 15, 4:00 – 8:00 pm
We’re keeping Joy Park open after hours from 4 – 8 pm (or dusk) on the third Friday of every month, May – September, thanks to a collaboration with Denver Parks and Recreation. Please note: These FREE nights include access to Joy Park only and are weather permitting. Except for the restrooms, the inside of the Museum will be closed.
99 Pieces of Art on the Wall at the Art District on Santa Fe

99 Pieces of Art on the Wall is Access Gallery’s annual fundraising event that showcases 99+ unique artists and celebrates that diversity of Denver’s art community. This fun and memorable night out features artwork of all styles and mediums created by a mosaic of well-known and emerging artists, local celebrities, and program participants.
Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms
Sept 15 – Oct 29
Wind your way through seven acres of corn. The maze can be viewed from two 15-foot tall illuminated bridges. Visitors under the age of 10 can explore the mini-maze.

Spacepop: Not Your Average Princess at Denver Pavilions

For the first time ever in theaters nationwide, Fathom Events presents SpacePOP: Not Your Average Princesses! When the evil Empress Geela takes over the Planets of The Pentangle, the five teenage princesses disguise themselves as musicians and form a band called SpacePOP. Their mission: Spread the message of freedom and joy through music and join the rebel resistance force to vanquish Geela, who has taken over their home planets and enslaved the inhabitants.

Arts & Ales Festival at the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities

Designed as a family-friendly event, the Arts & Ales Festival also includes activities for the kids, live local music and fun contests – all outdoors at the Center’s Sculpture Field. The two-day festival will feature ongoing entertainment and activities, including live painting demos from local artists, art booths and main stage entertainment throughout each day. Local bands will perform each day, with a fun audience participation contest in between the live music.
Grand Opening at Goldfish Swim School

Celebrate Colorado’s first Goldfish Swim School launching in Stapleton. The event is free and open to the public, featuring an open family swim, balloon artist, face painter, games, the Sweet Cow Moo Mobile and much, much more. The school is now open for lessons, serving children from four months old to 12 years of age.
Westwood Chile Fest

The Westwood Chile Fest is a one-day event in Westwood that celebrates Hispanic-centric cultures that make up 80% of this Denver neighborhood, with a strong focus on authentic food and the arts. Free and open to the public, this celebratory event takes place along the Morrison Road Corridor, an area rich with makers, entrepreneurs, and artisans. The Westwood Chile Fest is an event that is able to bring diverse communities together with local food, art, music, and dance.
