Just Between Friends of Longmont Sale at Boulder County Fairgrounds 
Aug 24 – 27 
Twice a year, Mile High Mamas does a round-up detailing Colorado’s popular children’s consignment sales. Thousands of shoppers find bargains on kids’ clothing for newborn-preteen, toys, strollers, furniture, baby equipment, books, shoes, maternity items and more…all at 50-90% below retail. Colorado State Fair 
Aug 25 – Sep 4 
Get ready for nonstop entertainment during one of the largest pro rodeos in the country. Highlights include a livestock and horse show, parades, country concerts, an arts exhibition, a fiesta weekend, and an electrifying carnival at the Pueblo Fairgrounds.

Oktoberfest at the T.E.V. Edelweiss Club
Aug 25 – 27 
Come to the most authentic Oktoberfest this side of the Rhine River! We have a little something for everyone. On August 25 that includes dinner, music by the Rhinelanders, dance performances and games for all.

Zero Waste Concert & Street Fair at Sandstone Park 
Aug 26 
Join us to celebrate and learn about Zero Waste and the Town of Lyons’s progress as a model Green Star Zero Waste Community –the first of its kind in the nation. The event is free and family friendly.

Evergreen Fine Arts Festival 
Aug 26 – 27 
This well-loved annual event is a juried fine arts festival since 1966, ranked in the top 50 art fairs in the nation. Enjoy this beautiful, relaxing art show under the pine trees of the cool mountain air along with local music, food and drink. 

Free Guided Family Tour at Clyfford Still Museum 
Aug 26, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Join us for a guided family tour! Family Tours are full of games, art making and close looking in the galleries. Our professional team of gallery teachers leads these tours designed for ages 5 to 10 and the young at heart.

An Evening under the Stars with Colorado Ballet at the Arvada Center Outdoor Amphitheater

Join the stars of Colorado Ballet under the stars for a program featuring excerpts from upcoming and past productions as well as other classical and contemporary works. 

Superhero Challenge 5K Walk/Run at Washington Park 
Aug 27, 8:00 am – 11:00 am
The Superhero Challenge 5K is a great event that brings the community together to honor patients, survivors and family members affected by prostate cancer. Superhero attire is encouraged. There will be prizes for best-dressed teams, individuals, and little superheroes.

Babygram: Complimentary Belly Portraits at Little Nest Portraits

Join us for this complimentary event at Little Nest Portraits! Enjoy a quick and easy portrait in our natural light studio, then select your favorite image to take print and share! This is a great way to try out our studio, meet our amazing photographers, and enjoy a portrait on us.

Free Day at Denver Museum of Nature and Science 
Aug 28, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
The Scientific & Cultural Facilities District is a voter-approved special district in the seven-county metro area that provides a stable source of supplemental funding to more than 300 scientific and cultural organizations inside the district’s boundaries. The SCFD collects a one-tenth of 1 percent sales-and-use tax (or one penny on every $10 spent), providing approximately $40 million each year to area cultural attractions both small and large.

Free Day at Denver Botanic Gardens 
Aug 29, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Free Days occur throughout the year at both York Street and Chatfield Farms, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). No tickets are needed for admission to Free Days. Free Days are for regular Gardens hours only and do not include ticketed events.
