A successful journey means overcoming natural enemies, evading predators and transforming from a tiny egg to creeping caterpillar to a delicate winged flyer. Learn how butterflies impact our lives and the role we play in their survival.
See brilliant images of Colorado butterflies and specimens from the collection. Immerse yourself in the role of butterfly biologist studying four species through hands-on activities. Discover how some of our favorite foods are a result of the relationship between caterpillars and plants.
The Becoming Butterflies exhibit is open daily from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., located at 10035 S. Peoria St., Lone Tree, CO 80134. This exhibit is included with your Museum Admission, ages 13 – 59 are $12, ages 3 – 12 are $8 and seniors 60+ are $10.
