Boulder Arts Week

The 4th Annual Boulder Arts Week will take place March 31-April 8, 2017, at locations all over the City of Boulder! Boulder Arts Week is Boulder’s only large-scale, inclusive celebration of our community’s vibrant arts and cultural offerings. This citywide event highlights Boulder’s distinguished arts and cultural programming and includes art walks, First Friday, exhibitions, performances, dance, music, theatre, artist demonstrations, lectures, readings, workshops, and symposia.
Free Day, Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms
Apr 4, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Free Days occur throughout the year at both York Street and Chatfield Farms, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). No tickets are needed for admission to Free Days. Free Days are for regular Gardens hours only and do not include ticketed events.
Petite Musique: Buckaroo Jamboree at Colorado Symphony

This specially designed program introduces the instruments of the orchestra to very young children in venues throughout the metro area. Our 16 piece orchestra and narrator perform an interactive program which incorporates storytelling, singing, and movement with music.

Low Sensory Morning at History Colorado Center

The History Colorado Center is happy to open its doors exclusively for families that prefer a lower sensory environment. The museum will be closed to the general public, attendance limited, and the sound in exhibits turned down.
Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt at Community Recreation Center

All aboard for the annual Bunny Breakfast! Our first stop is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, served from 9-9:30 am. Afterwards, kids can meet the Easter Bunny, play games and take a ride on the Easter Bunny Express. Bring your own camera! Adult must accompany children. Everyone from age 3 to 103 must pay, children two and under are free. No tickets sold at the door
Free Day at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science

The Scientific & Cultural Facilities District is a voter-approved special district in the seven-county metro area that provides a stable source of supplemental funding to more than 300 scientific and cultural organizations inside the district’s boundaries.
