I don’t honestly eat a lot of candy. I pick and choose – not because I am on a diet or because I don’t like it. I’m not even really sure WHY I don’t eat a lot of candy. Maybe I O.D.’d on it when I was a kid. But there is one candy that only comes around this time of year and I will totally load up on it. The Cadbury Mini Eggs! I can’t seem to get enough and you bet I will be the first one into the grocery stores on Easter morning to see if they have them on sale. Rubio’s Coastal Grill, the fast casual restaurant known for popularizing the fish taco in the U.S., is opening a brand new location in Littleton. The restaurant (located at 111 W. Mineral Ave. on the corner of W. Mineral and S. Broadway) opens Thursday, April 13 and the first fifty guests to visit on opening day will receive free Rubio’s merchandise and $50 in Rubio’s gift cards.
Recycled Robots. eXL Learning is excited to invite you to “Recycled Robots,” a mash-up celebration of National Robotics Week (April 8-16) and Earth Day (April 22). This free family event will engage kids, in engineering their very own robotic creations utilizing recycled materials. The event takes places at eXL Learning @ Lowry (Lowry Town Center) and MindCraft makerspace @ Stanley (Stanley Marketplace) on April 15th 10 am to 12 pm.
ChickFilA. I love that Chick Fil A is trying to get us to see them as a breakfast place. Which means that there are a lot of opportunities for FREE breakfast! Every Wednesday in April from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. you can try a new breakfast item. No strings attached and it is available for both dine in and drive through.
Burger King. Burger King wants in on the breakfast crowd too! They are offering three pancakes for just 89 cents! (For a limited time).

I have several friends who are in different “of the month” clubs – everything from Glossy Box to Bark Box (for my friend who is a crazy dog mom). But my personal favorite is the FabFitFun box. Get Deals with Cyphr. Did you know that companies like Groupon give customers a great deal but may actually hurt businesses by taking 50% of the profits? There’s a new kid in down who has figured out a fun way to support local businesses AND be rewarded for it! With Cyphr’s free app, you unlock local businesses you choose. Those businesses send you time-sensitive “Secrets.” If you see a Secret you want to use later, you just press the “lock” button and it saves in your vault. At that point, it becomes like a mobile coupon you use before the expiration date. The Rocky Mountain Super Pass + re-launched their Kids Ski Free Program for the 2017/2018 Season. Yeah, you read that right- FREE! With the purchase of a qualifying adult pass, like the RMSP+ which costs $529, you get a free child’s season pass for kids 12 and under. That’s a savings of up to $319 per pass, and offering significant savings, with a family of four (two kids/two adults) paying just $1058 for entertainment November through April.
