It’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical, UA Denver Pavilions

Ballet MasterWorks at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House

Colorado Ballet will present a collection of three master ballet works to live music by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra in Ballet MasterWorks. The production includes Firebird, by choreographer Yuri Possokhov and music by Igor Stravinsky. The ballet is based on the Russian folklore tale of the Firebird, a magical creature who assists Prince Ivan Tsarevich in rescuing the maiden Tsarevna from Kashchei the sorcerer.
Ski and Snowshoe Weekend at Camp Chief Ouray

Join Camp Chief Ouray for a fun filled weekend with cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and sledding. Price includes lodging, food, and activities (including equipment rental) at Camp Chief Ouray.

Inside the Orchestra at History Colorado Center

Tiny Tots gets children truly inside the orchestra by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece orchestra. Designed for children six and under, this 45-minute program gives young ones the chance to interact with the conductor and the musicians and learn about the instruments in the process. Tiny Tots audiences receive an up-close-and-personal performance in a casual, fun environment.
We Rock the Spectrum Littleton Grand Opening

We Rock the Spectrum is an indoor sensory gym for ALL children! Come join us for our grand opening for a day of sensory play on our specialized equipment including suspended swings, a trampoline, a zip line and more! There will be face painting, food from local restaurants, prizes, giveaways, local vendors and fun.
Bumblebee Jamboree at Denver Botanic Gardens

This unique indoor musical experience is perfect for children ages 0-12 and their parents. Children are invited to dress as a favorite pollinator such as a bee, butterfly or bird and dance and sing along with the musical guests.
Immersion in Nature

This program is based upon the Japanese practice of “Shinrin-Yoku”, a premise which describes a wide range of healthful and healing benefits of “forest bathing”. It will last around 2 hours with no destination or purpose other than to be in nature. A naturalist will lead a gentle walk of no determined length where you will engage 4 of the 5 senses on the trail to breathe, touch, look, feel, and hear the world around you.
Free Day at the Denver Botanic Gardens York Street

Free Days occur throughout the year at both York Street and Chatfield Farms, thanks to funding from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). No tickets are needed for admission to Free Days. Free Days are for regular Gardens hours only and do not include ticketed events.
Free Day at National Parks

During the fee free days, all National Park Service sites will waive their entrance fees for all visitors.
Chinese New Year Celebration at the WOW! Children’s Museum
Feb 20, 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Welcome the Year of the Rooster with Chinese New Year crafts and a traditional and lively lion dance performance by the Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu Association. This cultural program is included with Museum admission and is generously sponsored by the Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission.
