I love that this year I have been seeing the celebration of Galentines (Gal-Valentines) for those of us that don’t have that special someone. There are loads of great Valentines deals – so let’s all take advantage of them – no matter if we have a guy or not. There are lots of buy two meals for X price out there (not many are great DEALS) but I will say I loved the cookies at Kneaders or the chocolate- covered strawberries packaged in a rose box. Something I can get for myself, my neighbors or my friends…or as the manager there, Joe, said, “It’s a great idea for all of those with a Y chromosome.”

President’s Day. It really doesn’t matter if you support this president or not. They will certainly celebrate because the kids are out of school on Monday. Here are a few ideas for you.
- At Ace Eat Serve(501 E 17th Ave http://www.aceeatserve.com/) in Uptown is open from 11am – 6 pm on Monday, February 20th. Enjoy the happy hour menu all day plus happy hour ping pong prices all day – ($10/hour). Kids in tow?
