Deals: ParkDIA, Chinese New Year and More

posted by:

I am on my way out of town – heading to Hong Kong (where I hear I can get a few deals). I was trying to figure out if the A train was going to be running and/or who might take me to the airport or pick me up when I conveniently received an email about a parking service at Denver International Airport for ParkDIA.

ParkDIA is the closest off-airport lot and it is now the cheapest as well at $5.95 a day for uncovered parking. In an effort to fill the lot, they are offering strong incentives. Get 7 days of free parking when you create an account with their app or on the website (make sure you put in your credit card to get the 7 days free): https://reservations.parkdia. com/reserve-dia-parking/ parkdia/NewRegistration.aspx. In addition, use promo code 15FORUM016 for an additional 15% discount on uncovered, covered, and valet. https://reservations.parkdia. com/denver-airport-parking- booking/

Happy Chinese New Year. While I’m in China for Chinese New Year you can celebrate here at The Outlets at Castle Rock. The first 50 kids, 12 and under, to sign up HERE can enter the lantern decorating contest for their chance to win prizes from Outlets at Castle Rock! And then on Sunday, January 29th. Join Outlets at Castle Rock at 2 p.m. for traditional Chinese and Dragon Dances performed by the Denver Chinese School-Jasmine Flower Dance Academy & the Denver Shaolin Kung Fu Academy! Located in the courtyard by Under Armour (weather permitting)

Arapahoe Library presents Bachelor Sean. I am a sucker for The Bachelor (on ABC) – maybe because I hope that I can find my own bachelor at some point. But I am also a sucker for my library, which is always one of my favorite escapes. Arapahoe Library has brought in some fun authors in the past (I met Andrew McCarthy that way). They are doing it again with Bachelor Sean Lowe as a new author. The event is free (but you need to register) or you can purchase a ticket for just $30 to meet and greet. It  takes place February 10 at the Embassy Suites DTC.

January Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. There are a ton of deals at Colorado Ski resorts!
