Halloween may be over but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate. November 5 is FREE Night at the Museums with 12 Denver-area museums participating. See our event calendar for full listings.

FREE Night at the Museums 
Nov 5, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Denver’s best museums are open late and admission is FREE between 5 and 10 p.m. There are free shuttles make it easy to explore all evening! Participating museums: Black American West Museum, Byers-Evans House Museum, The Cell, Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, Clyfford Still Museum, Denver Art Museum, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Firefighters Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Forney Museum of Transportation, History Colorado Center and Molly Brown House Museum.

Clyfford Still Museum Family Tour at the Clyfford Still Museum 
Nov 4, 10:30 am – 11:30 am
Take advantage of the Museum’s free youth admission and enjoy an art adventure for the whole family. Family tours are full of games, art making, and close looking in the galleries. Our professional team of gallery teachers leads these tours designed for the young (ages 4 to 10) and young at heart.

Art Focused Tour of the Byers-Evans House Museum 
Nov 4, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Take a closer look at the fine art collected and created by the Evans family during this 1-hour tour of the historic home. Highlights include landscape and portrait paintings by Colorado based and internationally known artists. Learn about Anne Evans, who was called the “Patron Saint of Colorado artists” by the New York Times, and her niece Josephine, who was an artist in the Arts and Crafts tradition. The tour is designed to compliment the regular historic tour offered daily.

The Mexican Day of the Dead is a traditional celebration that joyfully commemorates life after death by honoring ancestors and family members who have passed.

Smoky Hill High School 33rd Annual Craft Fair at Smoky Hill High School 
Nov 5, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
This popular event is celebrating 33 years with 210 vendors showing hand-crafted items. The craft fair is a great place to purchase decorations, unique clothing, jewelry and gifts for the holidays. Funds raised are used to award scholarships to senior students who plan on becoming teachers, and to support clubs and activities. Food is available.
