Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park announced that it will open a new high flying thrill ride in the spring of 2017. Soaring above the Denver skyline comes one of the tallest rides in Colorado.Star Flyer, a ride so high it will leave you gasping for air! On this extreme swing ride, 48 guests sit two across in open-air seats, feet dangling and hair blowing, ascending to the top of the 17-story tower while flying round and round. Riders will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of their favorite park attractions, Downtown Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
Star Flyer will be the seventh new ride at Elitch Gardens in the last six years. As an important part of Denver’s historic landscape since 1890, Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park is committed to the continued growth of this iconic namesake by investing over $4 million in new capital for the 2017 season.
Elitch Gardens is now open Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays for Fright Fest through October 30. The park kicks off the 2017 season on April 29, 2017.
