My daughter and I went to Larson Adventure Ridge Labor Day weekend (details forthcoming). We had such a fun time. What I think was perhaps most fun was that it was a day that I got to spend with her. As a single mom with two teenagers I find it increasingly difficult to spend one-on-one time with my kids. I feel like I shuttle them from school, to events, to friends’ houses and back again in circles. But this was a whole day – just with my daughter and me. (My son was in Florida with his football team).
