Melting Pot is one of my favorite restaurants. I have usually reserved it for a special occasion (we don’t go out very often anyway) but I was excited to learn about their new family nights! What about Superhero Sunday? Dress up as your favorite superhero and enjoy a 4-course fondue meal with other mighty crime fighters. Adults: $35 , Kids (4-12): $14.95, Wee-ones 3 and under: Free. Fondue Fairytales 8/7 & 8/21. Bring your little prince or princess to Fondue Fairytales at The Melting Pot this summer where fairytale dreams do come true! And Magical Family Night – every Tuesday from 5 pm until 7 pm. Kids 12 and under eat free with the purchase of any 4-course meal from our menu. One child per paying adult. Magician Dennis Michael will entertain and delight kids of all ages.
 
Stuff for Students. At Bright Horizons, they understand that your child’s education and care is a priority and that choosing the right program is a big decision. Their programs empower children from infancy on to become confident, successful learners and secure, caring people. Visit their schools during the first week of August to discover the joys of learning at their Open House and give back to the community. Bright Horizons is partnering with 9News to collect school supplies for “Stuff for Students” and if you bring in an item, they’ll give you a free gift during the entire month of August (*while supplies last). brighthorizons.com
 
Bicycle Village Free Learn to Bike Program. Kids three and up can call your local Bicycle Village location (Littleton, Westminster, Colorado Springs, Boulder or Aurora) to reserve a spot for the FREE one-hour opensession held every Sundaymorning through September 25. At the event kids are fitted with the right-sized bike, get a strong does of safety tips and importance of helmets. Plus, sore a nearly 50% discount on the purchase of selected Raleigh youth bikes. While you are there join the Bike Trade Up program getting half off new bikes each year.  
 
Uncorked Kitchen. Looking for new after school activities to keep your kiddos busy after school? Kids classes at Uncorked Kitchen—Denver’s newest interactive dining venue—are a great way to teach kids a practical life skill in a fun and enriching environment. During the academic calendar year, Uncorked offers 7 after school sessions, each running 5 weeks long for kids age 6 and up. Classes are tailored to help young chefs grow their confidence in the kitchen while educating them about how to create healthy meals, where food comes from, as well as the importance of eating nutritious foods. And, at the end of each class, students take their delicious creations home to share with the family (serving a family of three to four). Water World. Water World has partnered with 9News Stuff for Students. Through August when you bring a new (un-opened) school supply to Water World not only do you help the community but you also get a $6 discount.
 
Dunkin Donuts. Coloradans are invited into participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants to enjoy a FREE* Colorado-themed donut August 1-7 in honor of our state’s 140th birthday!  (*NOTE: Donut is free with purchase of any size Cold Brew Coffee.) Starting August 1, guests who prefer their coffee cold can order a Cold Brew Coffee, which is an ultra-smooth, full-bodied coffee cold brewed in small batches. The coffee is made by steeping a special blend of coffee in cold water over an extended period of time to extract a uniquely distinctive flavor from the beans. Dunkin’ has created a limited edition donut to celebrate Colorado’s 140th birthday. Smithsonian Museum Day Live.  On Saturday, September 24  the 12th annual Smithsonian Museum Day Live! offers FREE admission to 16 museums in Colorado and more than 1,000 across the country. For the complimentary tickets, you need to fill out an online form and create an account with some basic information. Each ticket is good for FREE admission for two people; limit one per household. Among the participating museums in Colorado are many local favorites, including the Golden History Center, History Colorado Center, Byers-Evans House Museum, Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys and more. 
 
Thrive 360. Thrive360 Eatery is excited for their first Denver location. ( 1001 17th St.) The first 360 customers through the doors (at 10:30 a.m.) on Wednesday, August 3 may purchase an entrée for just $3.60. Add your energy to the Blender Bikes on the outdoor patio – attached blenders powered by pedal strokes, the bikes allow riders to mix beverages as they pedal. Golden Bike Library. I love biking and I love libraries! What could be better? Nothing!  The Golden Bike Library is a bike share program, where residents, visitors, local employees and students can “check-out” a bike for local use in Golden. Located at the Golden Visitors Center at 1010 Washington, the Golden Bike Library will offer 40 bikes available for two hour rentals for free, or a $10 daily fee.  Bikes will be available on ThursdaySunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. What’s even better is they have all different kinds of bike (including kids bicycles).
 
Harkins Summer Movies. Harkins Theatres’ popular annual kid’s movie program, Summer Movie fun, kicks off Monday, June 6. Season tickets for all 10 movies are just $5. Individual tickets are available the day of the show for $2 each.
