Family Volunteer Opportunity: Throw a BBQ!

Family Volunteer Opportunity: Throw a BBQ!
Do you want to teach your kids the importance of service this summer?

Join Volunteers of America for their June Family Volunteer Event and help throw a BBQ and resource fair for the clients of the Bannock Youth and Family Center!

Families are needed to help assist with cooking on the grill and with games for the kids. If you have a yard game (corn hole, lawn darts, etc) or a great idea (face painting, balloon animals, etc) for carnival type games that you’d like to bring, please email  at [email protected].  VOA will supply the food, drinks, some games, and the prizes for the kids.

When:  Saturday, June 18th from 10:30AM-2:30PM
Where: Bannock Youth and Family Center, 455 Bannock St, Denver, CO 80204
volunteerHow: Click the button to sign up!

Bannock Youth and Family Center offers three unique programs to help youth and families reach self-sufficiency. Participants in Bannock Youth and Family Center programs receive case management services to help support them in their employment, education, independent living, parenting skills and more.
