Colorado’s coolest winter camps for kids: ski, snowshoe and dogsled!

I subscribe to the YMCA of the Rockies’ newsletter for Camp Chief Ouray and last week, I received a notification about what I deem to be the coolest winter camps for kids in Colorado. Talk about the best holiday gift ever!

Both camps take place at Camp Chief Ouray near Granby, Colo.

PERSONALIZED SANTA VISIT

Looking for some last minute Christmas magic, or maybe have a little one who is skeptical of the “big man?” The YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park has a unique spin on the boring old Santa visit. This year the Y is offering a PERSONAL Santa visit to your cabin or hotel room.  Santa will come directly to your private cabin on Christmas Eve and hand-deliver presents to your kiddos (supplied by mom and dad in advance, along with a few important details) and truly knock the socks off your kiddos. There’s nothing to help them remember that Santa is always watching when he surprises them at the door with their special personalized gifts and details. Reservations are required (for obvious reasons!) You can check them out at www.ymcarockies.org
