I looooove baking with Quaker oats and have declared oatmeal cookie dough about the best thing on earth.
In honor of my kids’ stellar report cards, I announced I was making a special treat for them. And then I proceeded to get knee-deep into baking, only to realize I didn’t have all the ingredients (who else can relate?)
The recipe for Fudge Jumbles is supposed to have a creamy chocolate filling but since I didn’t have enough chocolate chips, I adapted with what I had and also added butterscotch chips and white chocolate chips…and it turned out better than the original. The evidence? I took this treat to two friends and they texted me within five minutes begging for the recipe. Enjoy!
