7 Gift Ideas for the Health Conscious

7 Gift Ideas for the Health Conscious

What do you buy for the health conscious person in your life?  Well, we have some fabulous ideas that are sure to please even the pickiest person on your list and that won’t break Santa’s budget either.

  1. Mason Jar Gift Ideas – It’s easy, affordable, and you can customize to each person. Some ideas are:
  • Nuts – Make your own trail mix or mixed nut blend and then include a recipe for a homemade nut butter.
  • Soup mix – Layer the makings for a scrumptious bean soup, lentil soup, split pea. Don’t forget the recipe attached with a decorative bow
  • Homemade granola – you can customize how much sugar goes in and anything homemade is better than store bought any day of the week.
  • Quick bread mix – Layer all the things needed to make a delicious quick bread. How about pumpkin, cranberry, or cinnamon swirl.  Don’t forget to include the canned pumpkin, applesauce, cranberries or whatever else is needed.
  1. A brand new Knife – Health conscious people eat at home most of the time and the fastest way to get dinner on table is with a good, sharp knife for cutting up those veggies. A Santoku knife is fantastic for cutting, slicing and dicing.  Add in a new vegetable peeler to complete the set.
  2. Coffee – instead of that boring gift card to one of those famous coffee shops where they will only get one coffee, opt for a pound of a higher end coffee and depending on the taste buds on the receiver, either a seasonal flavor or a roast based on their preference.
  3. Pedometer – everyone knows that one way to greater health is to count your steps and what better way than with a pedometer. There are many affordable options out there. You don’t need to spend a lot.  Just a basic pedometer will do the job.
  4. Dark Chocolate – Everyone needs a little chocolate in their life. Go for a dark chocolate bar with 70% cacao in order to receive the most health benefits.
  5. Cholaca. A group of Colorado entrepreneurs have developed a product made from pure liquid cacao called Cholaca. Cacao is one of the planet’s most nutrient-dense foods, and Cholaca contains only three natural ingredients: pure cacao, coconut sugar and water. Slip it into your holiday/winter drink or give it as a gift.
  6. Essential oils – Even though essential oils have recently come into the forefront of society, they have been around for hundreds of years. The health benefits one can receive depends on the purity of the oil, so one must make sure that the ones you are using and purchasing are of the highest quality and purity.
  7. Water bottle – there are many on the market now that your gift recipient can add fruit to and have fruit-infused water. Gone are the days of just plain water.  What about pomegranate water, raspberry water, strawberry kiwi water.  The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination.

I hope this got your creative juices flowing.  Think outside the box to surprise that health conscious person in your life.
