Meet the Great Pumpkin + Help Throw a Halloween Party!

posted by:

As much as I love Halloween, I’m cognizant it is a gluttonous, self-serving celebration that we happily embrace with open arms (and mouth). So, wouldn’t it be nice to give back while helping others have a fun celebration?

That’s why when I heard that Volunteers of America needed family volunteers to host a Halloween party for residents at Brunetti Lofts, I jumped on-board…and volunteered to bring my family’s giant 1,000+ pound pumpkin. They are still in need of volunteers of all ages to help pull off this party and we’d love to see you there!

The Details

When: Wednesday, October 28th 4-6 p.m.
Where: VOA Admin, 2660 Larimer St., Denver, CO 80205
Who: All ages are welcome!
Feel free to wear your Halloween costume… they will be having a contest.

Brunetti Lofts is a unique 5-year program which is designed to help families and individuals who have successfully completed a transitional housing program move toward home ownership. They need volunteers to help bring candy, pumpkins, games and more. Be sure to sign up here.
