Contest: Win a free house cleaning from Clean Slate Maids

Who wants to start their summer off with a clean house? Disclaimer: We do not want to see your “after” photos in August following two months of kid chaos!

I’ve never had a regular housekeeper but periodically hire crews for deep cleaning.  When my neighbor was knee-deep with three unruly boys ages 5 and under, her husband casually offered to get her a house cleaning service to help her out a couple of times a month but she refused. For me, that would be a dream. For her, she saw it as a personal failure that she couldn’t stay on top of cleaning her house.

We are in the throes of motherhood and I’m all about outsourcing the unimportant. And for me, that unimportant is sometimes outsourcing my house cleaning in exchange for precious family time. And sanity. Sanity is a big deal.

Mile High Mamas has teamed up with Clean Slate Maids to offer you a free house cleaning! I recently had mother-daughter team Nicole and Sharon come to my home and was thrilled with the results. Not only are they extremely courteous but they work efficiently and do a bang-up job! Something I loved: they gave me a “Customer Onboarding Checklist” that is a four-page itemized document of everything they clean. And believe me, it is a lot!

I sat down with Keegan Hayes, Founder & CEO of Clean Slate Maids.

Why would moms hire your company?
Moms have plenty on their plate as it is, and sometimes keeping the home in tip top shape can be a challenge. We make it incredibly easy for hard-working moms to wipe the slate clean and start fresh with a sparkling clean house. We back that up with a 100% satisfaction guarantee and even give 5% back to charity each month.  There are no contracts; we want you to have the flexibility and control that you deserve. Cancel anytime.

What makes you different from the other services?
We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, meaning in the rare case our client is not happy with the cleaning, we come back to fix it at no cost, and refund the cleaning if we can’t make things perfect. We’ve also got a lot of praise for our charity program. We give back 5% of all revenue to a local charity each month. This month is the ALS Association – Rocky Mountain Chapter here in Denver. It’s exciting to be able to work with and help out these amazing organizations. Lastly, we have a flat-rate system and super simple online booking so there’s no waiting around for quotes or looking up measurements of your house. We want to make the entire experience from booking to cleaning as simple and enjoyable as possible for our clients.

Tell me about your staff.
We have several rockstar teams of professional cleaners who have a TON of experience behind them in both cleaning and customer care. Seriously, they know every trick of the trade, and they continue to amaze me with their quality of work. All our professional house cleaners are insured and bonded so you can enjoy a worry-free clean. I’m so happy to have them on-board.

What parts of town do you service?
We service anywhere from the north side of Denver, down to Littleton/Centennial/Castle Rock areas. So this includes Lakewood, Arvada, Parker, Englewood, Sheridan, Highlands Ranch, Cherry Creek, and all the Denver neighborhoods. We’re also expanding pretty rapidly and hope to have a presence north towards Broomfield and west towards Golden very soon!
