I was reintroduced to the streets that make up Cherry Creek North recently and discovered some fun finds of stores and I can’t wait to get back to visit again. While I was there I got to tour PrAna (They have weekly free Yoga classes), Pura Vita (a cool gym where you can literally hang from the ceiling), Club Pilates (I want to try Pilates), Fitness Logic (a gym where you can get a full workout in just 30 minutes). I also tried pizza at Patxi’s (It was delicious!!). I tried a flight of cold-pressed juices at Aspen Juice – my favorite was the Casablanca. But there was a tour that did several other stores I didn’t get to go to including Aviano Coffee shop and one of two consignment stores there (reason to go back).
Haagen Dazs. Enjoy a free kiddie-sized scoop or cone on Tuesday, May 12 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at any of the Haagen Dazs shops (there are five in the Denver area)
Mad Greens in Lone Tree. Golden-based MAD Greens, a leader in fresh, better-for-you lunch and dinner options, will celebrate the opening of its first location in Lone Tree (0002 Commons Street, Suite E2, Lone Tree, CO 80124, near Lincoln Ave and Ridgegate Pkwy) by giving away free Inspired Salads to all guests at the new restaurant from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14. The free salad offer includes a regular-sized salad with chicken, if desired, and a drink.
Neighborhood Music in Stapleton. Neighborhood Music (10255 E 25th Ave, Aurora CO 80010) invites you to their Grand Opening on May 17th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. children aged three years and older can choose from piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, violin, mandolin, drums, banjo, flute, trumpet, trombone and more. The organization also offers additionally programming such as music therapy, summer camps, rock bands, school programs and other collaborative groups. Harkins Summer Movie Fun. Harkins Summer Movie Fun program for kids is back again this year. Kids can enjoy a movie a week for 10 weeks, for less than $1 per film. Make Harkins Summer Movie Fun for kids an annual tradition for your family. All adults must be accompanied by children. Tickets are on sale now at participating locations. Movies this summer include: Boxtrolls, The Lorax, Rio 2, Dolphin Tale 2, Curious George, Nut Job, Puss in Boots, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and Penguins of Madagascar.
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading. Kids can earn a free book of their won from Barnes & Noble (one of my favorite stores) in three easy steps. Step 1: Read any 8 books and record them in the Reading Journal (PDF). Step 2: Bring the completed Reading Journal to your local B&N store. (Find a Store). then Step 3: choose a FREE BOOK from our selection on the Reading Journal list at the store… Enjoy reading!
