Foodie Friday: Best ever pumpkin waffles with spiced pear marmalade

Last year, I stumbled upon a pretty darn awesome pumpkin waffle recipe, tweaked it with even more spices and made it for some guests. They loved it and my family loves it. So much, in fact, that my kiddos beg to make “friend waffles” whenever we have guests. I’m always more than happy to oblige.

Because I’m a giver like that.

Usually I make it with a fresh apple marmalade topping but a friend recently gave me pears so I opted instead for a spiced pear marmalade. It was a winning combination!

  1. These look amazing. I never would have thought to put pumpkins and pears together.

  2. Me neither. But both are amazing with cinnamon and compliment each other beautifully.
