Contest: Win VIP Passes to Colorado’s Nationally Acclaimed Haunted Houses!

Two of the most sought after haunted house attractions in the nation – the 13th Floor and the Asylum — have expanded and getting ready to open for the season. And, this year you can enter for your chance to win a set of Four Fast Pass Tickets to BOTH houses!  The 13th Floor opens on Friday, September 19, and the Asylum opens Friday, September 26.  Both houses are open through November 2.

 The 13th Floor

Experience the legend and bizarre alternate reality of the supernatural at the acclaimed 13th Floor Haunted House. Featuring redesigned attractions, new creatures, new and larger-than-life interactive monsters, and heightened sound effects, the 13th Floor will also continue to offer enhanced fan favorites including a living floor effect, flying actors who will inhabit the house, sewer scene, laser swamp, Mayan tombs, shifting hallways, illusions, state-of-the-art computerized monsters and much more.

Get double the horror with a ticket to experience Undead – the Possession, Dwellings of the Dead included in one ticket price with 13th Floor. Undead is inspired by the 2012 movie, “The Cabin in the Woods,” and by the continuing popularity of zombies in today’s culture and entertainment world.

 The Asylum

You will lose their mind when the lines of reality and terror are blurred at The Asylum to create a psychological, gritty, and interactive experience.

Get a glimpse into a real insane asylum with the Asylum’s upfront actor-driven premise. This year, you will get scared with new rooms and layout of spine-chilling nightmares including a padded cell that will leave people wondering which way is up or down, an eerie and authentic atrium, a tilt room, a realistic two-story cell block, and more. The mind-blowing experience will draw on each of your five senses.

Also included with the price of admission is Primitive Fear: The Apocalypse. Created as a city that has been over taken by mutants, highlights include finding your way through tilted buildings, room of doors, and dark alleyways.

In addition to the haunted houses, here are a couple noteworthy items:

Don’t Be A Monster: Keeping Monsters in Haunted Houses and Out of Schools

The 13th Floor will once again spread an anti-bullying message with the “Don’t Be A Monster” campaign to students in schools throughout the Denver-metro area September – November. The goal is to educate youth about the affects and consequences of bullying through captivating presentations that are energetic, touching and inspiring. “Don’t Be A Monster” focuses on choices students can make when it comes to bullying, and how it will impact their lives as well as the lives of those around them. Additionally, they will leave the presentation equipped with the tools they need to have an educated and empathetic discussion about bullying. Visit www.dontbeamonster.org for information.

 Family Night

On October 5, both houses will present Family Night – one evening where groups of four can purchase general admission tickets, popcorn and soda for only $79.

Visit http://13thfloorhauntedhouse.com and http://www.asylumdenver.com/denver/index.html for ticket pricing, dates/times of operation, location and to buy tickets.
