Denver Deal: Great Play Parent’s Night Out, Kids Clothing Swap

Denver Deal: Great Play Parent’s Night Out, Kids Clothing Swap

I recently tried the new fresca bowls at Del Taco. I tried the Southwest bowl (they have three – Southwest, Pollo Asad0, and Fire Roasted Veggie). All three bowls are right around 500 calories. I have to be honest, when I first received it I was a bit concerned about the size. I didn’t think it would be enough food. But then I realized that I must have been comparing it to Qdoba or Chipotle – which honestly are too much food, most of which are rice and not necessarily the good stuff. The portion size was perfect. The taste was delicious with a bit of  a spice kick (although next time I will certainly ask for some sour cream with it). Even my daughter liked it.

Starbucks

I recall a time (not that long ago) when I would bribe my kids with cookies. Since I try not to let them eat a bunch of sweets – I was good to go for weeks with one package of oreo cookies. But now that my kids are in their teen years. I can bribe them with Starbucks. But Starbucks is making it easy for me this week! They are offering a buy one for yourself and give one to a friend promotion from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on their fall drinks.
