I think I have exhaused all the fun in our world (just as my kids – as they are coming up on the last week of summer they are BOOOORRRREEEEDDDD). My grandma used to tell us that bored should just be wiped from our vocabulary as it just means we need to find something to do! So what are we doing for my birthday this week? (I like to make a full week of celebrating ME…). We start at Denver-area La Sandia restaurant to try out award-winning chef Richard Sandoval’s new “Latin Light” menu which features 13 healthy and flavor-packed menu items, all under 500 calories, as well as two new, lightened cocktails under 175 calories each tomorrow night then, I’m dragging them to a Rockies game on Friday night and to Elitch Gardens on Saturday (to celebrate MY birthday). Sunday we are doing one last day of shopping. I’m sooo mean and they have reason to tell me they are bored, right? (It’s all about me!)
