Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is nestled in the mountains above Glenwood Springs, and is accessed by a scenic ride in a fully enclosed gondola. The park offers thrill rides such as the Cliffhanger Roller Coaster, which is the highest-elevation coaster in America; the longest Alpine Coaster in Colorado; the Giant Canyon Swing, which launches riders out over Glenwood Canyon 1,300 feet above the Colorado River; and the 625-foot-long Soaring Eagle Zip Ride.

the park’s Wild West Express family coaster, Mine Wheel Ferris-wheel ride, GiddyUp Western ride, laser tag arena, climbing wall, Fort WhereAmI maze and 4D Motion Theater provide a full day of action. The theater is now showing three new films, “Rats Race,” “Bamboo Express” and “Pirates Rapids.”
This May, the park is celebrating the grand opening of the newly expanded Historic Fairy Caves Tour, which includes sections of the cave never before open to the public. With only 12 steps, it’s easier for young children to enjoy without being carried. The King’s Row Tour takes you through the lower section of the caves to the most highly decorated cave room in the state.
The Funday Passes include a tram or bus ride and park admission, both cave tours, and all of the rides and attractions listed above. The Funday Passes cost $48 for adults and $43 for kids 3 – 12. Family-friendly mountain-top dining is available at the Lookout Grille. Additional activities, including geode cutting, old-time photos and gemstone sluice box mining, are available at an additional cost, and individual pricing options are available.
