It’s construction season on the south side of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science in City Park.
A new wing called Morgridge Family Exploration Center is going up with three floors above ground.
There will be an atrium space for programs, science studio classrooms, a temporary exhibition gallery, and areas dedicated to early childhood education, the museum said in a news release.
The first exhibition scheduled for the new space is Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed in February 2014.
