Did you know that Smashburger serves beer? I didn’t. I normally are in a hurry to get in an get out. When the kids and I swing by a fast food restaurant – I get one thing that I like and I usually order the same thing all the time. I am not much of a menu adventurer. But this week, I had the opportunity to try the beers at Smashburger along with their other burgers. Awesome affordable date night. New Belgian Brewing and Smashburger have combined because they are both from Colorado. The suggested pairings (listed on the menu I never look at) tell the story of WHY a certain beer goes with a certain burger. My favorite pairings were the Spinach & Goat Cheese Chicken Sandwich with Shift Pale Lager and the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger with Fat Tire Amber Ale.
