Denver Deal: Ballet Nouveau, YoCrunch, and EchoMountain

Ok, gut check. How are you doing on the resolutions you set out on New Year’s Eve? Hopefully well – and hopefully just this mention of them is not a painful reminder to *ahem* get started.
Ballet Nouveau Dance
Are you still looking for ways to start that new year’s resolution? Yes, the one where you were going to find a new love of fitness. Try any class for free this week (January 9-13) at Ballet Nouveau. Try Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Tap or even Pilates – or try them all. It’s free for the whole week!
There are three new pie parfait flavors of YoCrunch yogurt! Talk about yum. My daughter was so excited when I told her I was going to pack Apple Pie in her school lunch, she almost did a flip. I usually try to pack my kids something healthy in their lunch bag – hoping that they won’t be smart enough to trade them away. (Yes, one time my son told me he likes when I pack ding-dongs because they have “high trade value”). Lucky for me she liked the samples enough that I think she might actually eat the yogurt!
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
The new movie starring Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock, about Oskar Schell, an inventive eleven year-old New Yorker whose discovery of a key in his deceased father’s belongings sets him off on an urgent search across the city for the lock it will open. Watch the advanced screening at UA Pavilions in Downtown Denver on Tuesday, January 17th at 7PM. Download your pass – and make sure you get there early!
I have written a whole page about ski deals, but, I’m excited to have the opportunity to snowboard (effectively “fall down the hill”) with other Bloggers this week at Echo Mountain! If you have the time, come join us at Echo Mountain this Thursday. Echo Mountain is one of the closest ski areas to Denver at just a 30+ minute drive. Echo also boasts night skiing five nights of the week (they’re closed on Tuesday and close at 4 p.m on Sunday). Echo Mountain has a spot close to my heart as my son learned how to ski there using his 5th Grade Passport. January is learn to ski and snowboard month. It is become something that my family enjoys doing together – now that my daughter will join the fun using HER 5th grade passport!
January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. There are many deals listed on our Ski Deals page.
