Denver Deal: King Soopers Fuel, Library Book Sale & WaterWorld
posted by: Gretchen
My kids jumped off a mountain! My brave kids jumped off a zip line at Zip Adventures just West of Vail. The course has six zip lines that get progressively longer and faster. My son wasn’t so excited to go on the first one (in fact, the fantastic guide, Brian went tandem with him just to show him how simple, easy and fun it really is). My daughter, on the other hand, was so excited I thought she would jump off before the guide was finished giving a small instructional speech. I was not worried as they explained to me that they have had kids as small as two years old go and a lady as old as 91 join them. The lines are safe and one couple we were with said they wanted to come back with their kids.
This weekend we will stay closer to home with a slew of great free concerts. This week we highlight King Soopers new fuel rewards points program where you can accumulate enough points to save up to $1 off a gallon! The downtown Denver Library central branch is hosting one gigantic book sale and WaterWorld will cool us down – Lazy River here I come!
King Soopers Fuel
Starting this Wednesday (June 8), you will be able to save up to $1 off per gallon of fuel! Yes! The program is really simple. You will just need to shop like you normally do at King Soopers (and City Market) stores. For every dollar spent you earn a point (you can also earn points for filling prescriptions and buying gift cards). When you go to a King Soopers Fuel station you will be asked if you would like to redeem your points. If you have accumulated 1,000 points that means you will get $1.00 off per gallon for that fill up. Plus, Shell stations will still offer the 10 cents off per gallon. This month you can rack up even more fuel points by purchaing gift cards!
