Celebrating my beloved DownEast Basics’ Colorado debut w/ a discount & $50 giveaway!

Do you have a store you love so much you could buy everything in it?

DownEast Basics is that store for me.

So, imagine my jubilation to hear this high-style, low-price fashion retailer that specializes in trendy fashions finally opened their first store in Colorado this month: at Southwest Plaza Mall in Littleton, to be exact.

My love affair began two years ago when I queried my friend Teressa about her always-darling dresses and she revealed they were from DownEast. With 42 locations throughout the West, I was remiss Colorado wasn’t numbered among The Chosen so was relegated to online purchases and shopping sprees during my Utah visits (that I documented last summer).

I checked out the new store last week and was thrilled to see the new Spring/Summer line is in keeping with the fashions I initially fell in love with: flirty, fun, feminine, modest, affordable and stylish with smart layering pieces and wardrobe enhancing garments.

“As a former Denver resident, I’m familiar with the fun, family-oriented culture the metro area has to offer,” said Klane Murphy, CEO of DownEast. “We’re excited to make Denver our first new store location in 2011 and to offer its shoppers boutique-look fashions at a value price point.”

Klane isn’t the only one who’s excited they’re here.

DownEast Basics is offering Mile High Mamas an exclusive promotion of 20% off your entire in-store purchase if you print off this blog post or show it via your phone. If you prefer to shop online, enter MILEHIGHMAMAS at checkout and also get 20% off your online order. This great deal is only valid March 21-March 29, 2011.

Mile High Mamas is offering a $50 gift card (valid at the Littleton store only, not online). Please go here to enter. Contest deadline is April 9, 2011.

Directions: The new DownEast Basics store is in the Southwest Plaza Mall at 8501 West Bowles Avenue in Littleton, Colorado. It is located on the mall’s lower level next to Pac Sun and across from Buckle.
