Mile High Mamas’ Official Takeover of Einstein Bros. Bagels

posted by:

Friday’s stormy weather made it the perfect day to hunker down with an Einstein Bros. bagel, some of their Darn Good Coffee and relax.

Well, unless you happened to stumble into the Einstein Bros. Bagels on 5131 Kipling Street in Wheat Ridge, in which case you would have encountered a restaurant full of Colorado’s social media moms and their rambunctious children.

Einstein Bros. Bagels hosted Mile High Mamas/Mom It Forward for a casual mid-day meet-up. Our past events have been sans kids and in the evening.

We look a lot different in broad daylight with kiddos bouncing off the balls swiping our food.

Regardless, there was still a lot to celebrate:

1) If you become a fan of Einstein Bros. Bagels on Facebook you can print out a coupon for a free bagel on Fridays before 11 a.m.

2) Their glorious breakfast menu. We ordered two Variety Buckets ($12.99 each for 6 bagels, 12 mini-bagels and 24 bagel poppers and 2 tubs of smear), an assortment of their egg breakfast wraps including the Santa Fe and Spicy Elmo, and we topped everything off with a Sweets Nosh Box ($27.99) from their catering menu that consisted of muffins, coffee cakes and assorted pastries.

3) Great friends and conversation.

(Fiona, Amy, Lori, Barb and Anne-Marie)

4) We were not in charge of clean-up.

Special thanks to Einstein Bros. Bagels for hosting! We are not an exclusive group. Our next event will be Wednesday, May 19 at the Children’s Museum of Denver. We will be among the first to experience their new bubbles exhibit for only $1 per person. Please go here for additional information!

“We are not an exclusive group.” True! Never has it been so easy to get with an In Crowd, for sure.

Einstein’s was a wonderful gathering place and I loved their Darn Good Coffee. It’s terrific to be able to hang out with women I interact with online.

    Thanks, MHM, Einstein’s and Mom-It-Forward!

This event was fun, even if we had to drive through the pouring rain to get there. All the kids seemed to have a blast, too! And do you see the older gentleman in that last picture? He was so kind! He asked if my girls were twins (they are) and said HE is an identical twin – he told me my girls were lucky to have each other. Awwwww. I said I’m the lucky one!

That’s the biggest Einstein’s Bagels I’ve been to – lots of room to roam around! Even with our ridiculously long table of chaos, we took up only about a third of the seating in the restaurant. It’d be a great place for meetings or whatever.

That man *was* so sweet. I repeatedly apologized for taking over and just seemed to just be enjoying all the action!
