Sleep Tight Colorado’s 7th Annual 5K Pajama Jog @ City Park

Sleep Tight Colorado is excited to be hosting their 7th Annual 5K Pajama Jog in Denver’s City Park on Saturday, August 19th starting at 8AM. Support a great cause and appear in a costume for contest prizes!

The 5K is professionally timed and participants may choose to run, jog, or walk.

100% of the proceeds goes toward buying sleeping bags for Colorado’s homeless. Be a part of the action and sign up today.

8:45 AM 5K Begins.

Leashed pets are welcome.

Registration is $25 online through August 17th 11:59PM and $35 at the event.

STC is a 501C(3) nonprofit that believes that everyone deserves a warm night’s sleep. Sleep Tight Colorado’s mission is to provide sleeping bags to the homeless of Colorado.

BREASTIVAL @ Cheesman Park

Bring the whole family for a day of FREE fun and activities!

This year’s event features over 30 vendors, face painting, bounce house, balloon animals, numerous activities (baby wearing, music classes, infant sign language, yoga, story time, etc.), food trucks and more! (For prizes, register before the event at!)

The Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition hosts the Breastival each year as a free event for families with the purpose of connecting families to community goods and services and to help support, normalize and celebrate breastfeeding!

Oktoberfest @ T.E.V. Edelweiss Club
Aug 25 @ 5:00 pm – Aug 27 @ 6:00 pm

Come to the most authentic Oktoberfest this side of the Rhine River! We have a little something for everyone. On August 25, join us for dinner starting at 5pm. We will have music by the Rhinelanders all the way until 11pm. We also plan to have dance performances and games for all.

August 26, We open at 11 am for lunch. A little later, the Alpine Echo will get your toes tapping. We will have dance performances, a bounce house for the kids, and plenty of food, beer and games for all ages. While our band may stop at 11pm, we will keep going if you are still dancing.

August 27: We again, open at 11 am for your after church lunch special. The bounce house is back for the kiddos, and the beer booth is open for moms and dads. The band will be the Austrian Connection and they play all the way until 6pm.

This year we have a special treat. Our cook will be the would famous Chef Neuhold serving up the traditional schnitzel, and melt in your mouth smoked salmon. Plus, we are putting in a BIG screen TV for all you sports fans.
Admission is $5 for 21+, $3 for 11-20, Free for kids 12 and under free.

A Taste of Colorado @ Civic Center Park- Downtown Denver

A Taste of Colorado is a four-day, free admission festival produced by the Downtown Denver Partnership. The event takes place over Labor Day Weekend in Downtown Denver’s Civic Center Park. In addition to local and worldly cuisine, six music stages and shopping, there will be local artisans featured in the Arts & Crafts Marketplace, culinary demonstrations, and interactive activities, rides and games for kids. Join us in celebrating the sights, sounds and flavors of Italy during Festival Italiano at Belmar September 9 & 10, 2017! Festival Italiano at Belmar, a two-day event, celebrates Italian culture featuring the finest Italian food, wine, and artisan vendors, Balistreri Vineyard’s Children’s Grape Stomp, performances by the flag throwers from Florence, Italy, a free two-day open bocce tournament, and live entertainment on multiple stages, strolling performers + more! Plus, a portion of event sales benefit our non-profit partner, Project Angel Heart!

Fire Prevention Week free day @ Denver Firefighters Museum

A fun, family-friendly day at the Denver Firefighters Museum, celebrating Fire Prevention Week. Learn about fire safety and tour the historic Denver Firefighters Museum for free from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Special activities are open 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

Childsplay in “Go, Dog. Go!” @ PACE Center

Go, Dog. Go! brings the exciting adventures of P.D Eastman’s book to life in a frolicking musical dog party. The cast of this beloved preschool favorite has gone to the dogs – with cars, hats, a moonlit boat ride, and even a wild game of ball – as this hilarious visual spectacle manages to sneak in some important lessons about life between innings. Go, Dog. Go! is a musical romp full of surprises, color, clowning, vaudville, singing/barking, and of course, six lovable dogs!
