You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown @ Red Rocks Community College Theatre

LAKEWOOD, CO – Red Rocks Community College (RRCC) Theatre Arts and Dance Department presents the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. This beloved classic is directed by Kelly Jo Eldredge and choreographed by Marilynn Toth. It is presented by special arrangement with Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc., New York. Performances will be April 27, 28, and 29 at the Red Rocks Community College Theater.
Based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schultz, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown features six iconic characters: Lucy, Schroeder, Linus, Sally, Charlie Brown, and everyone’s favorite beagle, Snoopy. This lively musical features a book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with updated music written for the 1999 Broadway revival of the show. The production is suitable for audiences of all ages.

Día del Niño @ Denver Art Museum

Celebrate Día del Niño at the Denver Art Museum with family-friendly programming and FREE general museum admission for all visitors. Inside the Orchestra’s Tiny Tots Performances @ Boulder Jewish Community Center

Tiny Tots gets children truly inside the orchestra by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece orchestra. Designed for children six and under, this 45-minute program gives young ones the chance to interact with the conductor and the musicians and learn about the instruments in the process. Tiny Tots audiences receive an up-close-and-personal performance in a casual, fun environment. The experience is one-of-a-kind!
Highlights of the Spring Tiny Tots season: Kids will get to grow with music and hear music that sounds like waves, dancers from Hannah Kahn Dance Studio will perform, and an opera singer from Central City Opera will join us for an opera classic. From orchestra classics to modern movie music, kids will learn that orchestra music is all around them.
Performances are at 9:30 and 10:45.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration at Outlets at Castle Rock @ Outlets at Castle Rock

Outlets at Castle Rock, your Outlet for Life, will welcome Colorado families on Saturday, May 6 for a free Cinco de Mayo celebration. The day’s festivities will feature live Ballet Folklórico numbers performed by a local dance troupe in vibrant, traditional décor as well as a Mariachi Band playing fan-favorite songs.

While not watching the live performances, shoppers are invited to participate in a center-wide piñata scavenger hunt! Piñatas will be hidden in participating stores around the property and clues to their locations will be published throughout the day on the Outlets at Castle Rock social media pages. Lucky winners can then trade in their piñata at Customer Service to receive a $5 Outlets at Castle Rock gift card.

Sip & Craft | Celebrating Motherhood @ VOCO Studio

Sip & Craft is a night to celebrate motherhood and womanhood while sipping, crafting and shopping local shops! Each guest will receive a ticket for a glass of wine, enjoy desserts from The Long I Pie, enjoy a social craft, and hopefully be lucky to win some amazing prizes from small businesses.

A portion of your ticket will benefit Hope House of Colorado who are empowering young moms in our community!
