Four Mile Free Day @ Four Mile Historic Park

Take a tour of the Four Mile House Museum, check out historic demonstrations, explore our 12-acre grounds, sample a treat from our summer kitchen, and greet our farm animals. We’ll also be offering our Hay Bales & Tall Tales story and activity time from 12:00-1:00 pm. Admission is free thanks to the support provided by your Scientific & Cultural Facilities District.

National Robotics Week Free Event @ Lowry Town Center and Stanley Marketplace

eXL Learning is excited to invite you to “Recycled Robots”, a mash-up celebration of National Robotics Week (April 8-16) and Earth Day (April 22). This free family event will engage kids in engineering their very own robotic creations utilizing recycled materials. Parents can also join the fun by collaborating with their builder making for family fun. Join us for this unique celebration.

Eggstravaganza Carnival & Egg Hunt @ Civic Green Park

The fifth annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt takes place on April 15th from 11:00a – 1:00p. The event – located at Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch – features free grilled lunches, dozens of carnival games, a 15,000-egg hunt, and culminates with a raffle for a Nintendo Switch.

Everything at the event is free, including the grilled lunches, carnival games, egg hunts, balloons, egg decorating, and raffle. This year’s give-a-ways include toy baskets; gifts from Chick-fil-A, Jump Street, Monkey Bizness, Jungle Quest, PedalHeads, CCU Denver, SafeSplash, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Alamo Drafthouse; and a Nintendo Switch grand raffle prize!

“Every year, we look forward to setting up our Angry Bunnies Trebuchet, Holey Moley Skeeball, and Fruit Bowling Carnival Games,” says Kyle Kuschel, Legacy Chapel’s worship leader. “This year we’ll also have toddler carnival games – including Itchin’ 4 Fishin’ and Slip or Shape – and as always we’ll have face painting, a photo booth with the Legacy Easter Bunny, egg decorating, and free balloons from Legacy Preschool!”

Día del Niño @ Denver Art Museum

Celebrate Día del Niño at the Denver Art Museum with family-friendly programming and FREE general museum admission for all visitors. Special performances will occur from noon to 4 p.m.; lineup to be announced. Joy Park Free Nights @ Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus

We’re keeping Joy Park open after hours from 4 – 8 pm (or dusk) on the third Friday of every month, May – September, thanks to a collaboration with Denver Parks and Recreation. Please note: These FREE nights include access to Joy Park only and are weather permitting. Except for the restrooms, the inside of the Museum will be closed.

Walk in the Wild: International Migratory Bird Day @ Walden Ponds

Want to learn more about birds and have fun in the great outdoors with your family? Join us on Saturday May 20th and celebrate International Migratory Bird Day: Walk in the Wild. Visit education stations, go on a guided bird walks, and meet raptors in the hand. Feeling crafty? Paint a bird for our Flock project. Free food and much more. This event is free, but also serves as a fundraiser for habitat restoration
