Learn to Sew With These Sewing Machine Basics

The power of knowing how to sew, even with just the basic know-how, opens the door to a whole new world. It’s not that I am not a believer in The Dark Arts. I am a believer, which [...]

1. It is not the devil’s birthday.
2. It is not the devil’s birthday.
3. It is not the devil’s birthday.
We strongly assured him our family wouldn’t celebrate such a thing, [...]

The Science of Light Sticks – Liquid Light

Just give the plastic light stick a little “snap” and a shake and the liquid inside begins to glow. Some people call it liquid light. Light sticks are more popular than ever and have become almost required apparel for Halloween to cast an eerie glow on the candy seekers. I always buy them for my [...]

10 (+1) Things To Do With All That Leftover Halloween Candy…

Ok, so apparently some people actually have this problem because I was asked to write a little something on this delicious Halloween dilemma…and when I did a little research on the topic (yep, I researched it too) I realized it’s a rather common occurrence…one of life’s sweetest mysteries. Now, I’m not sure what the problem [...]

Making slime is also [...]
