Day Out with Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017 at the Colorado Railroad Museum 
June 24 – 25 
This fun-filled event offers children and their families the opportunity to take a 25-minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. In addition, they will meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities. Attendees will be able to participate in events that encourage and celebrate friendship including photo opportunities, crafts, and a fun activity that invites kids to collect passport stamps throughout the day to receive a trio of Day Out With Thomas friendship bracelets.

Sand in the City Festival at Ralston Park, Arvada
June 24 – 25 
The two-day long weekend event offers all-ages fun in the sun at Metro Denver’s only Sand in the City Festival. Attendees will enjoy a variety of entertainment, food, and beverage offerings including: View giant sand sculptures built by local residents, the Kids’ Zone, featuring activities for kids of all ages including a giant sandbox, bouncy castles, games, crafts and free face painting, live music on a full stage, Hawaiian luaus both Saturday and Sunday, craft beer from local breweries, and local vendors offering tons of shopping, food, and beverage choices.

Climb for Courage, Stair Climb Race and Family Fun Festival @ United States Air Force Academy 
Jun 24, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Join us for the 3rd annual Climb for Courage stair climb race benefitting Children’s Hospital Colorado. With each step, you play a role in transforming health care for kids by helping us build the region’s first free-standing Children’s Hospital. Tackle 2700 stairs and then enjoy a free family festival post climb.

5Oth Annual Denver 7s Rugby Tournament at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park 
June 24, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
The 50th Annual Denver 7s Rugby Tournament, watch 161 teams on 12 fields with Adult, High School & Youth Divisions and the Men’s 7s Qualifier for the National Club 7s Championship. Bring the family & enjoy a day of Rugby at Dicks.

Inside the Orchestra’s Summer Tiny Tots Performances at History Colorado Center 
June 24, 9:30 am
Join us for our final Tiny Tots performances of the 2016-2017 season! Tiny Tots gets children truly inside the orchestra by seating the audience on the floor and surrounding them with a 30+ piece orchestra. Designed for children six and under, this 45-minute program gives young ones the chance to interact with the conductor and the musicians and learn about the instruments in the process. 

Colorado Renaissance Festival 
Jun 24 – 25 
Flashback to the 16th Century and journey through a medieval city. Enjoy full-armor jousting, tasty turkey legs, music and a marketplace featuring more than 200 artisans.

Coors Light South Platte Riverfest 
Jun 24 – 25 
This two day festival is Denver’s premier urban RiverFest. Activities will include stand up paddle board demos, a variety of riverside recreational activities, a kids zone, live music, beer, food vendors, water sport vendors, and more!

Festival of Wishes at Make-A-Wish® Colorado 
June 24, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
The Youth Leadership Council of Make-A-Wish Colorado would like to invite you to their first annual Festival of Wishes. Wish families, friends, and Make-A-Wish supporters are invited to come together for a fun, family-friendly event. Enjoy games and activities for kids of all ages, prizes, entertainment, classic carnival food for purchase and lots of wish magic. 

16th Street Fair 
June 24, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
The 16th Street Fair is an annual celebration of fine art, handcrafted goods, and the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver. Take a stroll along the 16th Street Mall to enjoy a showcase of emerging artists and designers, producing original and unique handmade goods, in a wide array of media. This is Downtown Denver’s premier art and craft festival located in the city center along the busiest pedestrian street in the State.

Cherry Blossom Festival 
June 24 – 25 
Japanese culture and heritage are showcased in this annual event. Dance, taiko drums, and martial arts are featured on the outdoor stage, while inside the Denver Buddhist Temple are food sales, exhibits, and demos. Free admission.

The Prego Expo at Colorado Convention Center 
June 25 
The Prego Expo is the premier pregnancy, parenting and baby expo. Meet over 70 exhibitors focused on everything before, during and after the bump including Car Seat Safety, Panel Discussions with the best healthcare professionals, Babygear Demos, Babies&Bumps Fashion Show, $20,000 in giveaways and more. 

Unicorn Festival at Clement Park 
June 25, 10 am.-6 p.m.
A celebration of the imagination and all things mythical, the Unicorn Festival is coming to Littleton’s Clement Park. The magical day will be filled with Unicorn rides, swimming Mermaids, meet and greets with beloved Princesses, wandering fairies, Quidditch matches and more!. This is an enchanted event for the young and the young and heart, for families, cosplayers and anyone who loves imagination and fun. 

Colorado Latino Festival 
June 25, 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm
In partnership with Barrio E’ for a second year in a row, the Colorado Latino Festival, dubbed by its hashtag #latinxfest, will showcase the City of Longmont, Colorado as one of the most diverse cities in the state, highlighting its Latino diversity, heritage, culture, music, gastronomy, prominent figures and trends.

 
Buskerfest Kick-off Celebration at Denver Union Station

Douglas Land Conservancy presents the 4th Annual “Capturing the Beauty of Open Land” June 24 – 25, 2017 at the White Pavilion in downtown Castle Rock. Featuring the work of twenty-five plein air artists who have painted on stunning, conserved public and private properties in southern Douglas County over the course of one week, “Capturing the Beauty of Open Land” celebrates the natural marrying of the beauty of the land and art. A free kids’ painting workshop will be available Sat. at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sun. at 1 p.m. Must register in advance online
