I have some great kids. But, this last week they found themselves in a bunch of trouble. I honestly have not had to discipline them much at all. This was big so I grounded them. While I thought this was a great way to discipline them. (I can’t effectively spank my 17 year old 6’2 son). I took away their phones and told them they were confined to the house (no going out with friends). But what I’ve realized – like several other parents – when you ground them then essentially you are grounded too! Is there a better way?
