Denver Deal: Deals on Wheels, Frozen Dead Guy Days & More

I saw the sneak preview of Beauty and the Beast. It has always been one of my favorites. I can say I didn’t really “get” the new trend to remake all the Disney movies into live-action films but I fell in love with this story (and it doesn’t hurt that the Beast is Dan Stevens who played Matthew Crowley in Downton Abbey). Beauty and the Beast will officially be in theaters on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Belly Bliss. It’s big news! Lauren Williams, owner of Belly Bliss is having another baby…sort of…a new location! This time to celebrate Stapleton’s Stanley neighborhood location – they are offering FREE classes – classes like Belly Yoga, Parent and Toddler Yoga and Mommy & Me Yoga. For a full schedule look here: Belly Bliss Classes.
IHOP. Did you know that Tuesday, March 7 is National Pancake Day at IHOP? You can score a short stack of their delicious buttermilk pancakes..for FREE that day. A donation to Children’s Hospital will be accepted (and appreciated).
Frozen Dead Guy Days. Long before zombies were cool or the Walking Dead…Nederland had the Frozen Dead Guy Days! March 10 – 12 celebrate with coffin races, ice turkey bowling, or brain freeze contests. Quirky enough to take your teen kinds and have them actually think you are pretty “cool.”
St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Saturday, March 11 Denver will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a parade through the streets of downtown. This day – everyone is Irish!
Deals on Wheels. Saturday, March 11 – Sunday, March 19 get a bike on sale at the 17thannual Deals on Wheels event at all Bicycle Village locations. Each year, kids are measured and fitted to assure proper fit and the new bike gets a free tune to assure it is cleaned, oiled, adjusted and ready to roll.
Spring in Ski Country. One of the best times to get your tushie to the mountains is in the spring. Warmer weather and still great snow….plus, great fun events.
