No matter if you are new to Colorado or have been here a while – some of the best attractions are our fantastic cultural facilities. Places like the Denver Zoo, Art Museum and Museum of Nature and Science – or even some of the smaller (well, less known) are a true treasure to those of us who live here. Even better – you can go for FREE. Yes, we said free. There are certain days that are reserved for free entrance (or in some cases a super nominal suggested donation). Enjoy by yourself or with the whole family!

Also of note, there are a few places that are always free here in Denver. The Denver Art Museum is free for kids 18 and under every day (due to an awesome grant they received in 2015), Hudson Gardens and Aurora History Museum are also free entrances.
And if you have a 4th Grader, they can get an annual pass to the National Parks as a part of Every Kid in a Park. (Thanks, President Obama).
