Zengo, a restaurant located in Denver’s Riverfront Park, will be celebrating Chinese New Year with lion dancers on Feb. 10 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Brunch dishes around Luck, Wealth, Longevity and Prosperity will be served to welcome the New Year! Fortune cookies will be given out with the chance to win small plates and drinks. Zengo will be featuring the Chinese New Year’s brunch Feb 10, Feb. 16 and 17. Reservations are recommended. Piton Tax Help

The Piton Foundation with Colorado’s community college system provides free tax prep services at 27 locations across Colorado. Helping working families with their taxes. To qualify for their free tax preparation, families must have a household income of less than $50,000 in 2012. The refunds could be more than $5,000.

Do Something Jeans Donation

DoSomething.org is once again pairing with Aeropostale in their annual jeans drive. 1.7 Million teens are homeless – and the #1 thing requested at shelters is a pair of jeans. You can Do Somethign and drop your jeans off at your local Aéropostale store between January 14th and February 10th and take 25% off a new pair for each donated pair.

 IHOP

IHop is celebrating National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 5th with free short stacks of pancakes. They are absolutely FREE. They ask that you donate to Children’s Miracle Network.

Lego’s Build

Lego’s stores host a free build on the 1st Tuesday of every month (that is Tuesday, February 5th this month). You can build a log cabin this month. Models are not for sale and cannot be purchased. One free per child. Event is open to children ages 6 to 14 only. See store for more details. We hear that the event is very popular and you may need to pre-register. Event starts at 5:00 p.m.
