Valentine’s Day Giveaway: Topo Designs’ darling mini duffel and tote!

CONTEST CLOSED. CONGRATULATIONS TO WINNER KRISTEN T.!

How many Colorado backpack companies can make it? There are oodles out there. And make way, because there is room for oodles more. One more substantial than the rest is Topo Designs. Created by little boys with big imaginations who grew up in the Rocky Mountains, they haven’t strayed from their youthful and childlike ways as adults.

Most companies forget about cool, outdoorsy and eco-responsible kids.  Not Topo Designs. The Denver-based company makes all sorts of uber-cool outdoor gear and clothing, and all done so in a LEED-certified building. However, their line appeals to the inner child, both big and small, in everyone.

Case in point. I ordered Topo Design’s Mini Duffel bag. I thought about giving it to my brother-in-law for a holiday gift. Maybe something for taking on the airplane?

It arrived. The size of it literally made me fall on the floor from laughter. Mini is NO joke. My husband agreed in sheer laughter as well. Nonetheless, Hank the Tank, and all his engines, found a haven in this Topo Mini Duffel. It’s basically the new roundhouse. Dora and her posse from Sesame Street even roll around in the orange duffel. This thing is the most coveted bag in our house.

The design is brilliant, and it’s appropriate for children too. Let them go wild with their imaginations with a well-made, Colorado product. Sure, Topo’s clothing is remarkable and so are many of their other bags and supplies, but this is Mile High Mamas, and they simply have awesome bags for kids! We just can’t overlook this.

 Contest

For Valentine’s Day, Topo Designs is going to reward one local mama with a Topo Mini Duffel for the kids ($69) and a cinch tote ($89) for the adults. Go here to enter. Contest deadline: Valentine’s Day.

P.S. Check out the company and Jedd Rose’s story. If you can’t wait until Valentine’s Day or just want a super cool bag, go ahead, shop for the kids, young, old, big, small at Topo Designs.
