Denver Deals: Free Days, Chipotle, Art Sale and More!

Hear, hear! Chipotle, one of our favorite homegrown restaurants, is jumping on the catering bandwagon just in time for the Superbowl. The best news for us? They are testing it out in Colorado first. I had the chance to check out their new catering menu and it is chock full of favorites we’ve grown to love for groups from 6 to 200.

The Big Spread is served buffet-style and allows you to choose three of four meats (chicken, steak, carnitas and Barbacoa) and includes white and brown cilantro lime rice, black and pinto beans, fajita vegetables, a number of salsas, taco shells and all the fixings for $13.50 per person. Pre-prepared Burritos By the Box are $8.20 per person, the Two Meat Spread is $12 person and if you just want a quick snack for your group, try the Chips & Salsa Spreads for $40-$55. If you return your stands after your event, Chipotle will hook you up with a free burrito. Orders need to be placed 24 hours in advance. 1.800.CHIPOTLE.

Be sure to check-out the newspaper’s round-up of great sales and deals.

Brrrr-chase some art

“Old Man Winter is calling on you to shop until you drop” — that’s the theme of CHAC Norte Gallery’s “30 Below Show” through Saturday. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.  Chicano Humanities & Arts Council, 772 Santa Fe Drive, 303-571-0440, ChacWeb.org
