Events: Ice Castles, Globetrotters and more
Ice Castles at Steamboat Springs. In case you missed the Ice Castles’ staggering 25,000 tons of ice in Silverthorne last winter, take note: this visual spectacle is now in Steamboat Springs . This year, they will wind over a three-tiered landscape at the base of Steamboat Ski Resort in Colorado. By day, huge, white columns of ice contrast a blue sky. By night, lights embedded within the towers illuminate the Ice Castles with ethereal green hues. Grab your family and don’t miss this real-life fairytale. Go here for hours and ticket information.
