Denver Deal: Smithsonian Museum Day, Ace Hardware, Krispy Kreme and more

Halloween is over a month away, but my daughter is mooning over what she wants to be this year. It started in May when she informed me that she was going to me Marilyn Monroe for Halloween this year. May? I thought she was crazy (last weekend she told me that we need to put up the Christmas Tree – so perhaps she has a future in the retail business). But, I am finding out that there are several area Halloween and Fall Festival events that are open already! Anderson Farms Fall Festival starts this weekend (Sept 22) and Denver Botanic Garden’s at Chatfield  opened last weekend (I am taking the kids and some of their friends to the Maze and Pumpkin Festival)! I will be honest, I hope they get lost (at least for a while) so I can enjoy a bag of kettle corn to myself.
