Denver Deal: Free Days, Ski Rex, H&M, Taste of Colorado, Concerts and more

I don’t know about you, but I really could get lost in the special days that we have – ice cream day, be a friend day..I’d love to have a Gretchen is Awesome day. I think I might even be inclined to combine Gretchen is Awesome day with Hot & Spicy Day (which was Sunday). I’m not even sure what I might do to celebrate Gretchen is Awesome day – but I can tell you that it might include eating TandoorChef Indian yumminess! Oh YES! then I might travel over to TCBY (it’s one of my fave places) to try the flavor of the month (the blueberry pomegranite this month is pretty good – wish they’d bring back the Greek vanilla though). I would take in a family comedy show like Ralph Harris at Comedy Works South (all ages show on August 26th). And on Gretchen is Awesome day – I might go searching for a deal…or two…or three…

Free Days

The Denver Botanic Gardens will host a free day on August 28th and the Denver Art Museum will be free on September 1.  Take the family and enjoy our cultural facilities for FREE!

Another H&M

THIS WEEK!!!!  I couldn’t remember why the 23rd was seared into my brain…I remember now it is the opening of  a new H&M store at Flatiron Crossing. The first 100 shoppers at the FlatIron store will get T-shirts and gift cards valued at $10 to $300, as well as in-store specials and giveaways.

American Girl doll patterns

Does one of your kiddos have an American Girl Doll? I know the clothes can seem almost as expensive (or maybe even more) than what I would spend on an outfit for my own daughter! You can make your own doll clothes – a dress or even a swimsuit. Plus you can get two more FREE patterns from the very same makers of the real American Girl Doll clothes when you subscribe to Liberty Jane Clothing newsletter!
