Rarely do I like to post anything but great deals, but there are a couple websites that have come to our attention recently that merit a mention. TriedandTruth.com is a review site where you can post your reviews and read others’ thoughts on baby products (the first 20 reviews get a Starbucks gift card). Also, NextJump.com helps to fund education-related projects (several listed in Colorado) – when you purchase products from the site you gain points which can be donated to these projects to provide resources for classrooms across the country.

Fireworks

Despite the fires through the state there are still several places you can partake in fireworks displays including Outlaws game, Green Valley Ranch Amphitheater, Cherokee Ranch, Evergreen, Greeley, Thornton, Civic Center Park and more. Wildfire Victim Fundraisers

We love companies that are giving back in a big way. Qdoba Mexican Grill will partner with the American Red Cross to hold a fundraiser next Tuesday, July 10 at all 72 Qdoba restaurants across Colorado. All guests that donate a minimum of $1 to benefit American Red Cross Colorado Wildfires 2012 at any Colorado Qdoba restaurant will receive a coupon for a free order of chips and 3-Cheese Queso as a “thank you” for their support. In turn, Qdoba will match the total funds collected up to $50,000 with a goal of raising $100,000.

The Denver County Fair is coming to Denver August 10-12 and they are partnering with the Colorado Chapter of the American Red Cross to offer 50 percent off all tickets July 2-6 that will go to Colorado Fire Victims. Details: denvercountyfair.org.

Free Summer Concerts

Several cities throughout the metro area will have a host of free concerts – all summer long! Bring your chair or your blanket. Most locations encourage you to bring picnic and have fun with the whole family.

• Southlands in Aurora will host their FREE Friday concert on July 6th featuring Margarita Brothers Band from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Highlands Ranch will continue their summer concerts with FACE acapella band on Thursday, July 5 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. at Highland Heritage Regional Park (We will be there!!!)
• FlatIron Crossing will host Margarita Brothers Band for the their Thursday night concert this week July 5 from 6 p.m to 9 p.m.
• Clement Park in Littleton on July 3 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Red, White & You – Patriotic event featuring:  5 p.m. – food/drink, bounce houses, booths, & more!  7:30-9:30 p.m. – Black Water – A Rockin’ Tribute to the music of the Doobie Brothers
