Denver Deal: TCBY, Denver Art Museum, Echo Mountain, & more
I recently had the opportunity to try the new flavors at TCBY frozen yogurt that included Bananas Foster and Coconut. I have to be honest, and I will tell you that I don’t really like Banana “flavored” things. I don’t mind passing over the banana-flavored Laffy Taffy or the banana runts. I was not very excited to try the Bananas Foster flavor of frozen yogurt. I can only describe it as it “slapped me in the face with REAL banana flavor.” While I can’t say that I loved it, I will say that my kids did and I was surprised that it didn’t taste like that fake banana stuff of other candy. However, the coconut was really amazing. It is a vanilla-based flavor with an ever slight (but very yummy) aftertaste of coconut (bonus: TCBY offers sample cups). I started out just getting the new flavors in sample size – but quickly realized that I love the coconut flavor and got a whole cup! What I thought funnier was all the ideas that my kids were thinking that “TCBY” stood for. Apparently we were not the only ones – as there were “guesses” on the wall right inside! My son said maybe it means Try Coconut and Banana Yogurt. What do you think it stands for?

Kids can pick out fabrics, mix patterns and create a new look in our Fashion Studio. The museum also has two Hotspots that focus on fashion. On weekdays, families can make an Egyptian flower collar or sew Oceanic tapa cloth. Using a paper doll as a guide, kids can become a designer as part of an interactive family tour.
