Denver Deal: All About Kids Expo, Horse Expo, Echo Round up & Consignment sales

I enjoy taking my kids up to the mountains for our spring break getaway (OK, let’s be honest. It’s not just about Spring Break). We will be staying the night at a fancy hotel and then we will have the opportunity to see the (I hear) AMAZING Ice Castle in Silverthorne. I get really excited to take my kids to these fun places and get them out of town. The problem? My daughter’s favorite thing to do is to do NOTHING. She loves a day sitting on the couch in her PJs watching TV. I plan these great trips for my kids and they CAN’T STAND them. Do you have issues like that? Plan something with your kids in mind – and then they don’t want to go, don’t want to participate and act like they hate it? Or is this just my kids? Yes, I feel like we are careening into teen-hood all too quickly.
