Denver Deal: Library Week, Elitch Season Passes, Frozen Yogurt & More

When the days get longer (and a bit warmer) what do you do to pass the time?  Mile High Marketplace (formerly the Mile High Flea Market) is the one place in Colorado where everyone gets what they want every single weekend. You can find tools, tires, turkey legs and beer (for the adults), rides, toys and tasty treats for the kids, fresh roasted chiles, antiques, furniture, crafts and flea market finds.  Plus it’s open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm at I-76 and 88th (north of downtown).  Admission is just $3 per adult and kids under 12 are admitted free.

FREE DAY : Sunday, April 17 – Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

National Library Week

National Library Week is April 10-16.  The Denver Public Library (DPL) has an exciting line up of activities for adults and kids of all ages, including “Thunder Loves to Read” where kids can meet the Denver Broncos mascot, get a free book, autographed picture, and more!

Elitch Gardens Season Pass

A 2011 Elitch Gardens Theme Park and Water Park season pass is only $69.99.  Season pass holders enjoy unlimited visits to Elitch Gardens, free parking*, access to the park’s all-star summertime concert series, Fright Fest in October, three Bring-a-Friend-Free coupons and special in-park discounts.  Elitch Gardens’ main gate admission price is $42.99, so a 2011 season pass pays for itself in less than two visits.
