While spring baseball has started (in Arizona) we are within a week of Daylight savings time (it happens this year on Sunday, March 13) and most of the snow has melted in town.  The ski areas are gearing up for spring break travel and they have a ton of great stuff still going on!  It’s not too late to get lessons, use those passes (5th Grade Passport and School of Shred holders!!!).  I don’t know about you – but in just a few short months, it will be warm in town and I will be hoping for snow.  (I don’t get how I want snow when it’s summer and summer temps in the middle of winter)…

Disney on Ice Princess Classics

Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel…they will all be there!  Disney on Ice returns with Princess Classics March 30 – April 3 at the Denver Coliseum.  Get your Opening Night tickets (March 30) for only $13 when you use the code: DEAL13.  Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster locations (ticketmaster.com, 1.800.745.3000 or retail locations) or at the Colisseum Box Office.

Loveland Ski Area

 The Loveland Ski & Ride School offers a season pass for FREE once you complete your third beginner lesson package. All children ages 6-14 are also eligible for the FREE season pass after 3 lessons. (Intermediate packages are also available for adults with some restrictions.)   Get the Loveland Pass Card – where you benefit with a FREE ticket every fifth day AND discounted lift tickets in between. You can even purchase discounted tickets for friends and family on each visit and receive special gifts on days 3, 8 and 13.

But my favorite of their offerings is Colorado’s only flexible 4 hour ticket is available at Loveland. Ski or ride any four consecutive hours and pay the half day rate.  I can drop the kids off at school scoot up the mountain – board and then be back in time to pick them up!  Hookey from Stay at Home mom?  YEAH!

Children’s Consignment Sales

We have two great sales this weekend if you’re looking for children’s clothing or toys. March 4-5, Southwest MOPS will be holding their sale at Bear Valley Church in Lakewood. Friday: 8a-6p (no strollers before noon); Saturday 8a–2p (Half price sale).
On March 5, Twin Connection will be at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden from noon-3 p.m.

Chick-Fil-A Free Fry Day

Friday, March 4 is Free fry day at Chick-Fil-A.   From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. get one free medium order of Waffle Fries when  you mention Heinz Dip and Squeeze.   And a friend emailed me that everyWednesday in March you can get a free breakfast sandwich.
